When you sign up via email or social login (Google, Facebook, LINE), we collect your name, email address (when provided by the provider), and profile picture. We also store your forecasting activity, virtual point balance, and reputation scores.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate Situation24, display your profile and leaderboard ranking, authenticate your account, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Social login providers
When you sign in with Google, Facebook, or LINE, we receive basic profile information as permitted by your settings with that provider. Each provider's privacy policy governs their handling of your data.
4. Public information
Your display name, avatar, reputation score, and leaderboard rank are visible to other users. Your email address is not publicly displayed.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Some anonymized forecasting data may be retained for platform analytics.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure session management. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
